Serena is an independent licensed psychological examiner that graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lyon College in 2008 and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas in 2011. Serena is known for her comprehensive and accurate diagnosis of mental health, developmental and educational disorders. She takes great pride in providing families with a clearer picture of their children’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as providing evidence-based recommendations for diagnoses. Serena is married with a beautiful daughter. She loves her family and enjoys spending her free time with them. Serena is currently in training to be a mental health first responder for the Red Cross. And, Autism Speaks has held a special place in her heart for years. Her work in mental health has brought her in contact with may individuals and families affected by autism and she has been a volunteer at the annual walks since 2012. Serena has received training in Strategies for Teaching based on Autism Research (STAR Curriculum Training). A developmental curriculum content appropriate for students with ASD and other developmental disabilities.
